The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for certain navigable waters of the Maumee River within a 100-yard radius of the Toledo Country Club at 41[deg]35'39.2" N 83[deg]35'47.7" W. The safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards associated with a fireworks display. Entry of vessels or persons into this zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port Detroit, or their designated representative.
