Gainesville recorded an overall popularity score of 85.66 in this survey. The Median Listing Price of a home in the Gainesville area was calculated to be $720,000, and the average time from when a property came on the market to a sales contract was only 47 days, showing a brisk transaction flow. Gainesville was ranked 15th in the ranking of popular zip codes in Northern Virginia that we previously investigated.
Meanwhile, Henrico, near Richmond, took first place in the entire state of Virginia. Following Gainesville, Radford was ranked 3rd, Vinton was 4th, and Forest was 5th.
