Section of West Quaker Road between Prince George Drive and County Drive to close for pavement repairs

Homeowners and emergency personnel will maintain access throughout the operation.
RICHMOND— Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close Route 629 (West Quaker Road) between Route 156 (Prince George Drive) and Route 460 (County Drive) in Prince George County to conduct emergency pavement repairs. Work will take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, and Friday, June 13. The road will be re-opened each evening. During the daytime closures, traffic will be detoured to Route 156 (Prince George Drive) and Route 460 (County Drive).
Motorists should follow the posted detours as follows:
Westbound traffic: Travel south on Route 156 (Prince George Drive) to Route 460 (County Drive), turn right onto Route 460 (County Drive) and travel west back to Route 629 (West Quaker Road).
Eastbound traffic: Travel east on Route 460 (County Drive) to Route 156 (Prince George Drive), turn left onto Route 156 (Prince George Drive) and travel north to Route 629 (West Quaker Road).
