Prince George Economic Development Authority Announces Return of Micro-Business Grant Program

Prince George County, VA - The Prince George County Economic Development Authority (EDA) is excited to announce applications for the 2026 EDA Micro-Business Grant Program will open on June 1, 2026.

Small businesses located in Prince George County are encouraged to apply by submitting a completed application and supporting documentation to the Department of Economic Development and Tourism. Qualified applicants will be required to present a project pitch to the EDA and participate in business-related training courses as part of the selection process.

The program was approved for funding by the Prince George County Board of Supervisors on March 25, 2025, as part of an initiative to support and stimulate small business growth within the county. This partnership between the County’s Department of Economic Development and Tourism and the Economic Development Authority is designed to assist in the growth and expansion of micro-enterprises. The 2026 cycle marks the second consecutive year of the program.

Applications for the 2026 program will open on June 1 and close July 31, 2026.

Businesses interested in participating are encouraged to review program guidelines and apply online at: https://www.princegeorgecountyva.gov/business/eda_micro-business_grant_program.php
