School Counseling Meet your school counselors! Ms. Amanda Martin, Professional School Counselor (Grades K-4) With a B.S. in Forensic Science and Psychology and a M.Ed. in School Counseling, Ms. Amanda Martin brings a well-rounded background in education, counseling, and human support services. As a military child, her intrinsic need for adventure has taken her around the world and allowed her to work as a civilian with the United States Marine Corps. In addition to her professional experience in the United States, Ms. Martin has taught internationally in China, Germany, and the Czech Republic. As an educator, she led college readiness programming, developed curriculum, mentored educators, and promoted English Language Learning. Her roles in school counseling, behavior support, and teaching-both domestically and abroad- reflect her strong interpersonal skills, cross-cultural experience, and dedication to supporting others.
