Lane closures on E. Colonial Trail Highway for an intersection improvement project in Nottoway County

Update (Aug. 25): Weather permitting, motorists will experience traffic pattern changes on Route 460 (Colonial Trail Highway), Route 723 (Lewiston Plank Road) and Route 323 (Maple and Crepe Myrtle Roads) beginning Monday, Sept. 8, through Friday, Sept. 12. Update (June 27): Weather permitting, motorists can expect multiple traffic pattern changes starting Monday, July 7, along Route 460 (Colonial Trail Highway) and Route 723 (Lewiston Plank Road) as safety improvement work continues. RICHMOND— Weather permitting, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close the inside left lanes of Route 460 (East Colonial Trail Highway) in both directions between Route 360 (Patrick Henry Highway) and Crepe Myrtle Road in Nottoway County for an intersection safety improvement project. Lane closures will begin on Monday, April 28, and will remain in place until the work is complete.
Message boards have been posted to notify motorists about the project’s construction and upcoming lane closures. Motorists should follow the posted signage and other devices directing them around work in the area.
